Cinco De Mayo Parade


STOCKTON, CA – The 2011 Cinco de Mayo Parade was announced to be scheduled on Sunday, May 1, 2011. 

“200 years of partnerships Mexico California” is the theme of this years’ parade announced Ines Ruiz-Huston, President of the Coalition of Mexican American Organizations.

 Over 100 entries are scheduled to participate on the 23 block parade downtown Stockton in a parade scheduled to start at 12 noon on Sunday.  Additionally, this year the parade plans the 1st annual Menudo Cook-off, a competition of local chefs which will start Saturday April 30th.  More details will be posted soon. 

This parade has been one of the largest attended parades in San Joaquin with over 14,000 attendees last year alone.
