SOUTH STOCKTON SIDEWALKS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BEGINS

STOCKTON, CA — Monday, January 23, 2012, a public meeting will be held to learn about the South Stockton Sidewalks Improvement Project. The meeting, sponsored by the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works, will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Kennedy Community Center, 2800 South D Street, Stockton.

 

A brief presentation will be made at 6:00 p.m. Representatives from the County will present information about the project, including design plans and construction impacts.

The project will reconstruct five street segments on portions of Eighth Street, D Street, Ninth Street, and Eleventh Street. Sidewalks will be installed on reconstructed streets as well as on portions of Loomis Avenue, Pock Lane and D Street south of the community center. The total length of the project is approximately 1.25 miles.

A Spanish-language translator will be available at the meeting.
