LGBT Farm Worker Exhibition

(bw news) STOCKTON, CA- On September 22, 2011 the California Rural Legal Assistance will be having an exbibition called "Nuestra Tierra" at the Kress Building, san Joaquin Law Library in Stockton, CA from 5 PM until 7 PM.

The exhibition features a series of photographs and stories about Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Latino farm workers from Stockton and Salinas. It will focus on issues such as LGBT identity, family acceptance, and discrimination in the workplace.

  1. This is an amazing and very much needed exhibit. Stockton has a vibrant and engaged LGBT community and is even in the process of opening a Pride Center that will be able to serve all LGBT people in the area, including farm workers and their families. Thank you CRLA for bringing this loving tribute to Stockton
