A Vera Exhibition of Seasons

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA – Friday, September 9th from 5 PM to 8 PM, the County Administration Building in cooperation with the Tidewater Art Gallery will host an evening reception in an exhibition by Arturo Vera named Seasons of Lodi Lake. The event will host olive oil tasting, a performance by New Dance Company and music by Sebastian Vera.

"Seasons of Lodi Lake is aimed at capturing the dramatic effects of watermarks when the lake is drained and the refreshing spectacle when the waters flood back," says gallery representative Patricia Jordan. "Vera’s work captures the beauty of the lake, the color and hue surrounding the mushrooms, the trees bedecked with lichen, the colorful brush and the rising of the waters while the lake had been empty," Jordan added.

Located on the first and second floors of the San Joaquin County Administration Building, 44 North San Joaquin Street. The collection is available for public viewing during regular office hours and may be viewed and purchased at the Meet the Artist Reception.

The Tidewater Art Center & Gallery, is an artists’ collaborative. For further information about the gallery, artists, exhibits, upcoming art classes or special events, contact TidewaterGallery or call 209-463-4033. Please visit our website at www.tidewaterartgallery.org
