STOCKTON, CA-One of the most emblematic and well-attended events that make Stockton special will return for 30th year to downtown Stockton.

The Catholic Diocese of Stockton’s Hispanic Ministry Office has announced that on December 5, 2010, 12:00 noon, will hold the traditional procession honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Juan Diego.

The procession will begin from St. Mary’s Church in downtown Stockton, and will proceed to El Dorado and Fremont Streets and end at the Stockton Arena for a large Mass presided by Cardinal Roger Mahony and concelebrated by Bishop Stephen Blaire and other priests at 2:30 p.m.

“Twenty-three parishes will depict the message of hope of our Blessed Mary of Guadalupe to all on processional floats,” said Digna Ramirez-Lopez, Director of the Hispanic Ministry.
