Stockton Starlight Night to start in the morning

The evening of Saturday, December 4, 2010 will be packed with Christmas activities around Stockton… all day!
Lincoln Center —between 10 am and 4 pm— will present “Packed with Pride” with live entertainment, a visit with Santa and carriage rides. Information at (209) 477-4868 and www.lincolncentershops.com
Stonecreek Village will highlight Santa’s reindeer, holiday music and Kat Country 103.3 FM live broadcast from noon to 4 pm. Information at (209) 477-4868 and www.shopstonecreekvillage.com
There will be music and entertainment for kids at the Sherwood Mall and the Radio Disney Crew will make a presentation between 4 and 5:30 pm. For more information call (209) 477-4868 or www.sherwoodmall.com
At the Miracle Mile there will be live performances, entertainment and snow area open from 3 pm. At 5 pm there will be a tree lighting and a visit by Santa, to end with the 3D HD Movie “Light a Wick” at the Stockton Empire Theater between 7 and 9 pm. Tickets are $17.50 for the movie. At 5:45 pm, at Weber Point Event Center, the mayor of Stockton will light the City’s Holiday Tree followed by the Stockton All-City Youth Choir —under the direction of Mel Suguitan— who will perform while waiting for the 50-plus boats’ Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade to sail by the McLeod Lake. Finally, downtown Stockton will have entertainment for those 21 years and older —from 5 to 9 pm, and for $50 ($90 per couple), Cocktail for a Claus includes a cocktail and appetizers with a front row view of the “Delta Reflections” Lighted Boat Parade from the Lexington Plaza Waterfront Hotel, and then a ride in Santa’s Limo “Sleigh” through downtown to enjoy three more cocktails and three more appetizers. San Joaquin RTD will provide a complimentary event trolley and bus service from 11am until 10 pm between Hammer Lane and Downtown —through Pacific Avenue.
