Sixth marathon against hunger is on

Stockton, CA / Bilingual Weekly

Four thousand runners and walkers are expected to burn what they have eaten… to help feed the hungry.

The 6th Annual Run and Walk Against Hunger —benefiting the emergency Food Bank of Stockton/San Joaquin— will take place on Thanksgiving morning, November 25, 2010, organizers announced.

The 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run is to begin at the Stockton Ports waterfront Ballpark and proceed along both sides of the Stockton Deepwater Channel past the Weber Point Event Center and out the Deepwater Channel along Weber Street, returning on the same route, finishing by circling the Stockton Arena.

Awards will be presented for the top three places in each age group, male and female.
