SASS Now Open for Lunch

On Tuesday, October 12, 2010, downtown Stockton had an opportunity to welcome SASS with the restaurant’s initial opening.

“We are excited to open a restaurant that we expect will be part of the community” commented Sam Ventura, the restaurant’s owner, as he opened the door for the first time.

SASS picks up where Paragary’s left with a new community focus.  “We have established contracts with local farmers and our patrons will find our staff selecting the best of our local produce,” explained Ventura.

During the Tuesday opening event, he surprised nearly 100 guests by offering the full lunch menu —including appetizers, and desserts— for free.

“The food is delicious… I will invite my office colleagues to visit soon,” said Miriam Bernardino, Public Notary with Prerogative Mobile Signing.

SASS Bar and Grill is now officially open for daily lunch.
